Welcome Baby Jesus!

Good News of Great Joy for all People!  Christ the Savior is born!

About 2011 years ago, on an ordinary night in an ordinary place, came the most extraordinary event. An event that would alter the lives and souls of mankind forever.  Christ the Savior was born.  An angel came to shepherds in a field near Bethlehem and said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger."
Our Savior had come!  Because man is sinful and cannot save himself, God made a way for us to be saved from sin and destruction, and made a way for us to find true peace.  He came to earth as a baby, giving up all His heavenly glory so that He could live a sinless life and give himself as a perfect sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins on a brutal Roman cross.
Chris Rice wrote a beautiful song called Welcome to Our world.  This song depicts our need for Jesus and why He came.  Here are some excerpts from that song…
“Tears are falling, hearts are breaking
How we need to hear from God
You've been promised, we've been waiting
Welcome Holy Child…
Bring Your peace into our violence
Bid our hungry souls be filled
Word now breaking Heaven's silence
Welcome to our world…
Fragile finger sent to heal us
Tender brow prepared for thorn
Tiny heart whose blood will save us
Unto us is born…
So wrap our injured flesh around You
Breathe our air and walk our sod
Rob our sin and make us holy
Perfect Son of God…
Welcome to our world”

Those little hands would be nailed to a cross because He loves you.  That little heart would pour out its blood to cover your sin.  That little mouth would smile in favor because of His love for you. What a sweet Savior!  Have you trusted this Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins and salvation of your soul? Romans 10:13 says "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."  There is no greater message that we could bring you!  Trust and enjoy Jesus this season, knowing His amazing love and peace.
